Query for Health Care Facilities
Query for facilities using specific criteria.
Transaction Specifcation
URL: GET /ws/rest/v1/facilities?$<queryParams>
Description: Queries the HC Facility registry for HC Facilities using a variety of possible parameters. This transaction returns a list of HC Facilities that match the criteria specified in the query parameters. Otherwise, if an error occurred, then an error is returned.
Request
The GET request may contain any of the following parameters.
Parameters
$<queryParams>:
page
The page of results requested. This defaults to 1 and should be incremented to retrieve all results.
updated_since
The date the information for this facility was last updated. This should be specified in the following format:
dd/MM/yyyy
fid
The facility ID.
name
The name of the facility.
type
The type of the facility.
1 = National Referral Hospital (HNR)
2 = Provincial Referral Hospital (PH)
3 = District Hospital (HD)
4 = Health Center (CS)
5 = Health Post (PS)
6 = Dispensary (DISP)
7 = Community Dispensary (FOSACOM)
8= Prison Clinic (PRIS)
9 = Medical Clinic (CLIN)
10 = Military Hospital (HM)
11 = District Pharmacy (DP)
12= Blood Bank (BB)
13 = Other (*)
status
The status of the facility.
1 = Active
2 = Planned
3 = Closed
category
The category of the facility.
1 = Public
2 = Agrée
3 = Private
4 = Community owned
5 = Parastatal (Military, Police, Prison, State run dispensaries)
director_name
The facility director’s name.
director_nid
The facility director’s ID.
province
The province that the facility is in.

The district that the facility is in.

sector
The sector that the facility is in.

The village that the facility is in.

The cell that the facility is in.

tel_number
The telephone number of the facility. This could be either their cell number of fixed land line number.
internet_connection
The Internet connection that the facility has
1 = Cell Modem
2 = Fixed Line (ADSL, fiber)
3 = Satellite (VSAT)
4 = Wireless (WINMAX)
5 = No Internet connection
electricity_src
The electricity source of the facility.
1 = National Grid
2 = Generator
3 = Solar panels
4 = No electricity
water_src
The water source of the facility.
1 = National piped water supply
2 = Local piped water supply
3 = Protected well
4 = Open well
5 = Surface water (river, lake, etc.)
6 = Rain water reservoir
7 = Water Truck
8 = No regular water source
latitude
The latitude of this facility. If this parameter is specified then longitude MUST also be specified. This parameter must be specified as a double representing decimal degrees - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decimal_degrees:

Response
HTTP 200 - OK
The HTTP response body will contain an RSS feed XML message that contains a list of all the facilities that match the given criteria. The XML will be in the following format:

Error
HTTP 500 - Server Error - If the server encountered an error.
HTTP 400 - Bad Request - If the parameters are malformed.
HTTP 413 - Request Entity Too Large - If the the list of facilities returned is too large.
