Terminology Code Sets

The following is a list of the code sets that are used in the Terminology Service:

  • ICD-10: International Classification of Diseases
  • ICD-10RW: A subset of ICD-10 codes in use by the RHEA HIE
  • LOINC: Logical Observation Identifiers Names and Codes
  • LOINC-RW: A set of LOINC codes that describe maternal concepts in use by the RHEA HIE
  • RWADMIN: Rwanda administration units

  • ICHI: International Classification of Health Interventions
  • DM+d: Dictionary of Medicines and Devices
  • ATC: Anatomical Therapeutic Chemical
  • UMDNS: Universal Medical Device Nomenclature System
