2.  How do I see whether I am running the latest version?

Answer: The version number will be visible as of version 1.3.0. The BSIS version will be visible on all pages.

GENERIC QUESTIONS:

1. Why does BSIS seem to be running slowly?

Answer: There can be 2 reasons as to why the BSIS software can be slow. The first reason is because the connection speed to the server has dropped. This can be identified by a blue line as seen in the screenshot below. The more slowly the blue progress bar moves across the screen, the slower the network connection speed.

Do note that a drop in network connection or server speed is not caused by BSIS. Please report the issue to the IT department in charge of your server.

If the server speed has not dropped (you cannot see the blue line moving slowly), report to your  an IT administrator and ask them to compare the server time to the workstation time. If the server time is behind the network time, the action will only be performed once the server time catches up to the workstation time. This could be the second reason as to why BSIS is slow.

2. Why is BSIS fast on one computer and slow on another?

Answer: It is possible that the date or time differs between workstations. Compare workstations date and times. Note that BSIS is date and time driven. If the date and time on the workstation is not current, it will affect the performance of BSIS.
